The center is located in Youhao Rd, Urumqi, the capital city of Xinjiang, Xinjiang International Expo Center serves as a window to observe the development of the politics, economy, trade, culture of Xinjiang. It belongs to Xinjiang Foreign Trade and Economy Cooperation Department and is the unique specialized museum in Xinjiang. The center covers an area of 63 thousand sq. meters and the museums in it cover 28 thousand sq. meters, with 18 thousand sq. meters of usable area. There are 18 exhibition halls, which can accommodate 1100 internationl standard exhibition stalls (3m*3m each ). Also, it can provide outdoor area of over 10 thousand sq.meters. The following four functional departments constitute the center: Management Office, Plan &Finance Department, Fire Control And Safeguard Department, Property Management Department. The center also operates 3 companies: an exhibition company, an advertising company and a conference affairs company. One primary business and two secondary portfolios are the business structure adopted by the center, that is , the center takes exhibitions as its primary business and advertising and conference affairs as its secondary business, mainly making arrangements for the national, regional or the Middle Asia orientated international exhibition; it will also arrange for self-funded, applied or co-organized exhibition; it will provide service such as conference tourism, advertising originality, exhibition design and special fixing and erection etc. The center will seize the opportunity of China’s West Region Development and the promotion of the construction of international business and trade center in west region, taking the strength of the bridgehead of the second Euroasia Continental Bridge, its geographical advantage, carrying out the “Communication with the East for the Export to the West and Import from the West for the Sale to the East”, making effort to develop the exposition on ports and exhibition for famous brand, gradually achieve the international standard for exposition so that the unconventional development of Xinjiang’s exposition economy could be realized.
